Rev. Luis Muñoz
Luis Muñoz has been the Minister of Music and Administration at Parkview since August 2017. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in 2012. He tries to put Jesus at the center of his life every day. Brother Luis loves southern food, especially barbecue ribs, but not fried-country cooking. He likes healthy foods and sugar free banana pudding.’ He also likes reading, working out, languages, and watching movies. If he did something else for a living, Luis would want to be a full-time house builder.
Luis has been married to Holly since 2013. She is a teacher at heart. Currently, Holly is the music teacher at the Eufaula Primary School since August 2018. Holly plays the cello and teaches music privately. She loves all areas of music and church ministry. She loves seniors especially, but also people of all ages. She received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 2012 from Augusta State University, and a Master of Church Ministries from Shepherd’s Theological Seminary in 2013. Luis and Holly are waiting on the Lord to have 20 (yes twenty!) babies.
Luis is a concert pianist (E.D.E.M. Dominican Republic, 2008) and a private music teacher. He loves to learn things about people, life, and books. He likes to integrate all talent available in a church into the music ministry. He looks for people who love the Lord and want to worship Him from the heart. Luis’ qualifications for music ministry include the Bachelor of Arts in Music and the Master of Music in piano performance from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA (2010 and 2012). His qualifications for pastoral ministry include the Master of Divinity in Professional Ministries from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA (2014). In addition, he holds the Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (Old Testament) and the Master of Theology degree (Th. M.) from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA (both 2017). He is pursuing further seminary study at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He will be awarded, Lord willing, a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology in 2020. Luis and Holly are very excited for what the Lord is doing at Parkview.
